How do I upholster the inside curves on a RV dinnette bench?
i am trying to upholster dinnette benches on and old RV. I am not talking about the cushions, but the benches themselves. I have a felt backed vinyl or pleather material. I will cover the backs with one piece and the front sides with another I can not figure out how to neatly cover the inside corners. (Imagine a curvy L shaped board) I am sure it just takes the right tucking or cutting technique, but I can't figure out what that is! I was hoping to do the sides with a single piece of fabric pulled tightly over and stapled, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be great!!!

My first thought comes from doing some cushioning myself; and the fact that practice on a scrap might help initially. Obviously an inside curve is an IFFY thing for a DIY.
I'd lay out the piece; with the foam cushioning; and faux leather; then slice/cut the excess to PULL tight; just to the edge of the ply; on the UNDER side. Beginning at the center most point of the radius; staple that strip; then moving from side to side with the cut strips; stretch away from the center to get that radius as smooth as possible. You might have to overlap some of the strips to achieve the smooth look on what will be the FACE/ edge of the cushion. I'd try that on a practice piece before I'd PLEAT at the radius. Obviously a "Hospital Corner" could work, but it won't look as professional
