cabal dc a good skim board?

i am buying a cabal dc 30 wood skim board. Long glide rocker,
Russian Birch 9 ply core, Epoxy Glass lay-up,ABS Sidewalls are the details to it.is that a good skim board ?can i use it in the wave?

Long rockers are better if you want to go up on waves, but compared to fiberglass, wooden boards aren't usually ever as good for wave riding. Woods are better for flatland skimming. The epoxy Glass lay-up does make the board better at gliding on the water and it increases speed. Get some traction pads and try to take it up on the waves but it won't be the easiest wave board.
